Jakob "K?bi" Kuhn (born 12 October 1943 in Zürich) is a Swiss football manager and former football midfielder.
During his playing career he played primarily for FC Zürich and won 63 caps forSwitzerland, one of which was at the 1966 FIFA World Cup in England. As a manager he led his national team to Euro 2004 and 2008 and the 2006 World Cup.
Kuhn has been described as a clever and skilful midfielder. He spent 16 years with FC Zürich, captaining them to the Swiss Super League six times, as well as the Swiss Cupfive times. He also played for Zürich in European Cup semi-finals in 1963 and 1977. He left FCZ for city rivals Grasshopper-Club Zürich for a short period towards the end of his career. Internationally he won 63 caps, and as a 22-year-old played one game at the 1966 World Cup, before being sent home in disgrace, and later banned for 12 months from the national team, for breaking a curfew.
Kuhn announced in October 2006 that he would terminate his engagement as manager of the Swiss squad after Euro 2008. In the week leading up to the tournament, Kuhn's preparations were disrupted by an epileptic attack hospitalising his wife. In the opening game the Czech Republic eventually managed to break down the Swiss co-hosts' resistance to win 1–0. During the game, Switzerland hit the bar and had captain Alexander Frei limp out of the tournament. In their second match, against Turkey, Switzerland wasted several good chances in a torrential downpour before succumbing to a late, deflected winner, making the score 2-1. Prior to the game, Kuhn had been told that his wife had been woken from her 9-day induced coma.
Kuhn told the Tages-Anzeiger newspaper, "I had two feelings inside me on Wednesday, one of huge disappointment because we had gone out of the tournament and a great joy because of the surprise news from the hospital."
Already-qualified Portugal provided the opposition for Kuhn's final match, which saw Portugal make eight changes to their team. Switzerland won 2–0 with both goals from Hakan Yakin. After the game, the Swiss players unfurled a banner reading, 'Merci K?bi' as a mark of gratitude for his work. Kuhn had stated earlier that it was the aim of the Swiss squad to win the tournament at home. He was succeeded by Ottmar Hitzfeld the Bayern Munich head coach.

Ciriaco Sforza (born 2 March 1970) is a Swiss former professional football player and is the coach of Grasshopper-Club Zürich.
He most notably played for 1. FC Kaiserslautern and FC Bayern Munich in Germany. Ciriaco Sforza represented the Swiss national team 79 times, and represented his country at the international 1994 World Cup and Euro 96tournaments.
According to his website, he is married and has two children.
In 2000, he decided to give FC Bayern Munich another try. Once again, he failed to perform and spent a lot of time on the sidelines. FC Bayern had many star players competing for places, and the team won both the 2001 Bundesliga and UEFA Champions League titles. After two seasons at FC Bayern, he returned to Kaiserslautern in 2002, joining Kaiserslautern for a third time, Sforza's "double return" is unique in the German Bundesliga. The aging and now somewhat injury-prone Sforza helped FCK avoid relegation, however, in October 2005, he had a public falling-out with the club and was blackballed. He retired at the end of the season, in summer 2006.
Sforza was selected to play for Switzerland at the 1994 World Cup by national manager Roy Hodgson. Despite the missing success at FC Bayern, Sforza represented Switzerland at the Euro 96 tournament in England.

He first played for Basel, then for various other clubs in Switzerland, France and Germany before returning to his home club, where he won his first Championship title. Frei was the captain of theSwiss national team and is all-time leading scorer of the Swiss national football team with 42 goals in 84 games. He is of no relation to club and country team mateFabian Frei. However, he is the second-cousin of Toronto FC keeper and former Swiss youth international Stefan Frei. He's married to Nina and on 26 June 2012 they welcomed a daughter named Lia.
Frei represented Switzerland at Under-18s, Under-19s and Under-21s levels. He played his Swiss U-18s debut on 25 October 1995 in the 5-1 away defeat against the French Under-18s. His Under-21s debut was on 3 Speptember 1999 in the 3-1 away win against the Danisch U-21 team.
Frei played his debut as full international on 24 March 2001, being substituted in, during the 1-1 away draw against the Republic of Yugoslavia during the World Cup qualification Group 1 match.[9] In the following match, just four days later, Frei scored his first three goals for the National team in the 5-0 home win against Luxembourg.
Frei played for Switzerland at Euro 2004 and at the FIFA World Cup 2006 in Germany. He scored two goals in the 2006 World Cup, one in the match against Togo and a controversial goal against South Korea. Frei had 84 caps for Switzerland.
Frei is also Switzerland's all time top scorer with 42 goals. During Euro 2004, in a group match against England, Frei was caught on camera appearing to spit at Steven Gerrard. Although no action was taken at the time, Frei was later charged and given a provisional 15 day suspension by UEFA.
Within the first half of the opening match of UEFA Euro 2008, Frei was injured while captaining the Swiss team and missed the rest of the tournament due to a torn knee ligament in his left knee after a challenge from Czech defender Zden?k Grygera. He decided to remain with the team to show his support. He later underwent surgery.
In a Euro 2012 qualifier at home against Wales he was booed by his own fans throughout the match, even though Switzerland won the match 4–1. When he was finally substituted the fans in the home sector booed him repeatedly. On 5 April 2011, he decided to quit from the national squad after being criticized again following a 0–0 draw with Bulgaria on 26 March for the Euro 2012 qualifying match.

Brolin also played for the Swedish national team, finishing third in the 1994 World Cup and was also a beaten semi finalist at the 1992 European championship as well as having competed in the 1990 World Cup.
Although a class act in his youth,in 2007 he was voted in at Number 2 in The Times poll of the "50 Worst footballers (to grace the Premier League)", reflecting his dismal downturn in form after he signed for the English club Leeds United in 1995.
His once glittering career never recovered after the transfer to Leeds United, and by the age of 29 he had retired from playing
6 November 1994, at the R?sunda Stadion in Stockholm, Brolin broke his foot in a qualifier for the European Championship. On 7 May 1995, a week after he had returned from injury, Brolin played for Sweden against Iceland, and scored a penalty but was unable to help his team to a much needed victory in their qualifying campaign.
On 16 April 1996, Brolin was then dropped by Swedish coach Tommy Svensson for a friendly against Northern Ireland in Belfast, and was quoted "Brolin is not at 100 percent at the moment and it is difficult to say when he will be." Brolin told Swedish news agency TT that it was the best for him, and the national side "Right now I need to recover in order to get to the capacity needed to add something to the national team."
In the end, Sweden did not qualify for 1996 European Championship. Brolin never played for his country again, but in the last five years had managed been selected 47 times at senior level and scored an impressive 26 goals.
In 47 games for Sweden, Brolin scored 26 goals. However in February 2010, Brolin claimed credit for a goal against Norway, given to international teammate Roland Nilsson and that his record should read 27 goals.

Gunnar Nordahl (October 19, 1921 – September 15, 1995) was a Swedish footballplayer, best known for his play in AC Milan 1949-1956, where he won two Scudetto's and an unprecedented five top scorer (Capocannonieri) awards, more than any other player in the history of the Serie A. He's generally considered one of the greatest Swedish football players of all-time.
Nordahl started out at H?rnefors IF in Sweden before moving to IFK Norrk?ping. He won four Swedish championships with Norrk?ping and once scored seven goals in one game. During his time in Swedish clubs, Nordahl scored 149 goals in 172 matches.
Nordahl was first called-up to the Swedish national team in 1945. In 1948, he helped Sweden to win the Olympic football tournament, becoming the tournament's top scorer on the way. Nordahl's transfer to Milan forced him to retire from the national team, as the rules at the time prevented professionals from the Swedish national team, being not called to 1950 FIFA World Cup along his fellows Gren and Liedholm. In his 30 matches in the national team, he scored a total of 44 goals, or about 1.5 goals per game.
He won the Olympics along with his brothers Bertil and Knut Nordahl. Bertil also transferred to Italy after the Games (to Atalanta B.C.) and, due to this, was also not called to the World Cup. Knut stayed at Sweden and was called to the World Cup. After the tournament, he finally went to Italy, bought by AS Roma.
Thomas Nordahl, who is Gunnar's son, was a member of Sweden's 1970 FIFA World Cup squad.

Bo "Bosse" G?ran Larsson (born 5 May 1944) is a former Swedish footballmidfielder/striker.
Most of his club career he played for Malm? FF where he won the league championship several times. Between 1966 and 1969 he was an appreciated professional for VfB Stuttgart scoring 21 times in 88 games. As the best player in the team and loved by the supporters he was also awarded "Athlete of the Year" in 1969 by the city of Stuttgart. According to many he had a by far too short career as a professional player, but his wife Anita never settled to life in Germany, which made him move back home to Malm? that same summer.
He was awarded with Guldbollen (the golden ball) in 1965 and 1973, and was the first to be awarded twice. In Malm? FF and among its supporters Bosse holds an iconic status and is regarded as the club's greatest player ever.
Today he lives a quiet life in Malm?. In September 2007 a book titled "Bosse Larsson" was released. The book, written by Jonny Ambrius together with Bosse (whom finally after many years had decided to take part in a book being made), is filled with stories from the whole of Bosse's life, but with the centre of gravity on his footballer years. Shortly after the book release he also gave his permission for a possible statue to be made in his honour and placed outside Malm? FF's new stadium.

Anders Frisk (born 18 February 1963) is an insurance agent by trade and a former football referee. Frisk chose to go into early retirement from refereeing due to pressure from death threats made against him and his family. These death threats were made by Chelsea fans because Frisk sent off Didier Drogba in the first leg of the UEFA Champions Leagueagainst FC Barcelona. He is fluent in several languages including his native Swedish,English and German
On 12 March Frisk announced his immediate retirement, citing threats made to his family. Two weeks previously, he had been severely criticised by Chelsea fans, players and management following his handling of a UEFA Champions League tie betweenBarcelona and Chelsea, during which he sent off Chelsea's Didier Drogba for receiving two cautions. Chelsea's then manager, José Mourinho, publicly accused Frisk of having invited the Barça manager, Frank Rijkaard, into his room at half-time, an act that is against UEFA regulations.
UEFA charged Chelsea with inappropriate conduct following the match. Mourinho received a touchline ban for both legs of Chelsea's quarter-final against Bayern Munich for the suggestion that Rijkaard had entered the officials' dressing room. It was revealed on 7 April that the UEFA venue director, Pascal Fratellia, had observed Rijkaard say hello in the tunnel and then attempt to converse with Frisk about the match on the way to the officials' room. Allegedly Frisk told him that "This is not the place or the moment to talk about the match" and left Rijkaard outside the room.
On 19 December, Frisk was awarded FIFA's Presidential Award as "recognition for a career cut short following death threats against his family". He presided over 118 international games during his 18 year career.

Kazimierz Deyna (23 October 1947 – 1 September 1989) pronunciation (help·info) was a Polish footballer, who played as an offensivemidfielder in the playmaker role and was one of the most highly regarded players of his generation.
Kazimierz Deyna was born in Starogard Gda?ski to Franciszek (1911–1976) – a dairy worker, and Jadwiga (1917–1981) – a housewife. He had six sisters and two brothers – Henryk and Franciszek, who also were footballers; Henryk played for W??kniarz Starogard Gda?ski, while Franciszek was aStarogardzki KS player
Soon afterwards Deyna was transferred to English club Manchester City F.C., making his debut in November 1978, and being one of the first wave of overseas players to play in the English league. His time in England was marred by a series of injuries, and he left in January 1981, shortly after a change in team manager, having made only 38 appearances in all competitions. However, he was regarded as an exceptionally gifted playmaker and became a cult figure with City fans. Deyna scored thirteen goals in his time with the club. Furthermore, his seven goals in the last eight games of 1978/79 season were crucial for Manchester City avoiding relegation.
He appeared in the 1981 film Escape to Victory as Paul Wolcheck. In the same year, he emigrated to the USA, where he signed with the San Diego Sockers of the North American Soccer League in January 1981. During the next seven years, he played four NASL outdoor seasons, one NASL indoor season and five Major Indoor Soccer League seasons with the Sockers, winning five championships. The Sockers released him in June 1987.[12] He was a 1983 NASL Second Team All Star. He died in a car accident in San Diego, California, aged 41. In 1994 he was chosen by the Polish Football Association (PZPN) and the readers of all Polish sports-related newspapers as the Polish Football Player of All Time. His number 10 is retired by Legia Warsaw. In June 2012 Kazimierz Deyna was buried in the military Powazki
