Ilie Dumitrescu (Romanian pronunciation: [i?li.e dumi?tresku]; born 6 January 1969 in Bucharest) is a Romanian former football player and coach, who was last manager of Steaua Bucure?ti. A tricky forward, he shot to fame when his frontline partnership with Gheorghe Hagi and Florin R?ducioiu led the Romania national team to the 1994 FIFA World Cup quarterfinal, eliminating Argentina en route.
Dumitrescu joined the Steaua Bucure?ti Academy in 1977 at the age of 8, making his way through all the youth teams and play for the first squad in April 1987. Even now he is renowned as the best player Steaua Bucure?ti Academy ever produced along with Dan Petrescu.
After making his debut in Divizia A he is loaned to FC Olt to gain more experience. At Steaua, a team which won the European Cup in the previous year was no room for an 18-year-old. But at FC Olt was a different story, as Dumitrescu did catch the first eleven from the very beginning, playing as left full back. This was not, however, a position he enjoyed, as he was a creative player. During his time with FC Olt, Mircea Lucescu the famous Romanian coach noticed him and predicted a fruitful career.
It was just like Lucescu said. Once returned to Steaua Bucure?ti, full with talent and ambition, he makes himself way to the first eleven at the age of only 19, becoming an important part of the squad, playing alongside big names such asMarius L?c?tu? and Gheorghe Hagi.
In 1989 he makes debut for Romania, being used as a substitute in a game against Greece. From there the 1990 FIFA World Cup was only one step away, an opportunity he could not miss.
Despite playing two games in Italy, Dumitrescu's services are not requested by a Western European club and he returned to play for his old team and, as captain, leads it to winning the championship in 1993 and playing in the quarterfinals of the Cup Winners' Cup in the same year.
1994 was a World Cup year and Dumitrescu was there, playing all the five games his team played in America and scoring two very important goals against Argentina in their famous 3–2 victory. The first after 11 minutes, a stunning free kick from a tight angle curled over the Argentine goal keeper. Minutes later Argentina had drew level through a penalty converted by Batistuta but slick passing in a counter-attack with Hagi resulted in another fine goal for Dumitrescu just 7 minutes after his first. Dumitrescu was also instrumental in the 3rd goal. He played the ball after a great run to Hagi who scored a vital goal which proved to be the winner. His performance opened the doors to the quarter-finals, the best performance Romania ever gained.

Portrait Drawing Soccer Football Khaled3Ken Gallery STARS ROMANIA ANGHEL IORDANESCU

Anghel Iordanescu (Romanian pronunciation: born 4 May 1950 inIa?i) is a Major General and former Romanian professional football player and manager, currently a politician. In 2007 Iord?nescu retired from football, and the following February, after his predecessor resigned, he became a member of theRomanian Senate, sitting on the Social Democratic Party benches. On December 26, 2011, he became an independent senator, affiliated to the National Union for the Progress of Romania
Iord?nescu was a bright striker with a well-developed scoring technique, who scored many goals and helped the teams he played for achieve impressive performances. In Romania he played only for Steaua Bucure?ti, a team he joined as a youth in 1962, aged 12. Six years later he made his first appearance in Steaua Bucure?ti's first team, followed by his first appearance for Romania in 1971.
In Romania he played only for Steaua Bucure?ti between 1968 and 1982. During this period of time he scored a massive 155 goals, being the team's best scorer in its whole history.
With Steaua, Iord?nescu won two championships (in 1976 and 1978) and fourRomanian Cups (in 1970, 1971, 1976, and 1979). In 1981-82 he was Divizia A's top scorer.
In 1982, aged 32, he left Romania to play for OFI Crete in Greece under head coach Les Shannon, but returned to Steaua two years later to become the team's assistant coach. Together with Emerich Jenei, then head coach, he won the championship in 1985 and led the team to its European Cup triumph in 1986, playing as a substitute in the final against FC Barcelona.
Emerich Jenei was appointed as Romania's manager in the summer of 1986, leaving Iord?nescu as Steaua's new head coach. From his new position he led the team to victory in three championships (1987, 1988 and 1989) as well as three Romanian Cups in the same years. At the international level, Steaua and Iord?nescu reached the European Cup semifinal in 1988 and the final one year later.
In 1990 he left Steaua for the second time as he signed a two-year contract with the Cypriot team Anorthosis Famagusta. Released from this contract, he returned to Steaua in 1992 to lead the team to the Cup Winners' Cup quarterfinals in 1993 and then a new championship.
In the summer of 1993 he was asked to replace Cornel Dinu as Romania's coach and managed to qualify the team for the 1994 World Cup, where Romania reached the quarterfinals, the best-ever performance of Romanian football at the national team level.
He continued as Romania's coach after the World Cup and led the team to new qualifications, for Euro 1996 and the 1998 World Cup.
After losing against Croatia in the second round of 1998 World Cup, he resigned and took over the managerial position of Greece, from where he would be sacked in 1999, as he failed to qualify the team for Euro 2000.
In the 1999–00 season he was appointed as head coach of Al-Hilal, the Saudi Arabian club, where he won the Saudi Cup and the Asian Club Championship (the forerunner to the AFC Champions League).[3] Despite these performances he left the club to take over Rapid Bucharest, hoping to have the same kind of performances as he once had with Steaua. He led Rapid to the first round of the 2000–01 UEFA Cup, losing 1–0 on aggregate to eventual winners Liverpool. However, he was sacked after only three months in charge, causing him to sign with Al Ain FC from the United Arab Emirates helping them win the UAE President's Cup.
Romania failed to qualify for the 2002 World Cup and Iord?nescu was called to replace Gheorghe Hagi, therefore becoming the national football team's coach for the second time. His main objective was to qualify the team for the Euro 2004, but he failed to do so. Saying that there was no one else both better than he and available to take charge of the national team, the Romanian Football Federation gave him credit for the 2006 World Cup qualifying stage but after a poor performance in Armenia he was finally sacked.
After his second stint as team Romania's coach, he returned to Saudi Arabia, where he signed with Al-Ittihad and won his second AFC Champions League, in 2005 and the Arab Champions League, but one year later he was sacked after drawing with Al-Ettifaq.[6] Just as the 2006–07 UAE League started, Iord?nescu went back to coach Al Ain FC for a few months before announcing his retirement from professional football.

Davor Suker (born 1 January 1968) is a retiredCroatian footballer and current president of Croatian Football Federation (as of July 2012). He played as a striker for a number of European clubs as well as theCroatian national team, where he is the all-time top goal scorer with 45 goals.
Suker was born in Osijek. His parents came there from village of Listani in Livnomunicipality. Suker began his footballing career in his hometown, playing for the local first division team Osijek as a 16-year-old. During his final season there, he became the league's top goal scorer. He signed for a bigger club, Dinamo Zagreb in 1989. Thewar in Croatia halted a promising season for the 21-year-old, eventually resulting in Suker's move to Sevilla in 1991.
In La Liga Suker was highly regarded, showing consistent form with Seville and being amongst the top goal scorers for consecutive seasons. He signed with Real Madrid 5 years later, and was again amongst the league's top scorers, which helped Madrid claim the La Liga title, the Supercup trophy and win the Champions League during his tenure there.
His move to Arsenal turned out to be a disappointment, as he managed to only rarely find his goal scoring form, but distinguished himself in the Gunners' UEFA Cup final berth in 2000. He concluded his career with shorter spells at West Ham United and inGermany where he played for 1860 Munich.
The crowning moment of Suker's career was the 1998 World Cup in France, where he became the top goal scorer and won the Golden Boot by scoring 6 goals in 7 matches and also won Silver Ball 1998 at France as second best player of tournament (behindRonaldo). His goal-scoring prowess proved instrumental as the Croatians surprisingly took third place, upsetting a strong Netherlands side, in their debut World Cup as an independent country. Croatia did not lose a single match in which Suker scored prior to the semifinal loss to eventual champions France.
Named as Croatia's Golden Player for the UEFA 2003 Jubilee anniversary, he is also on the FIFA 100 list of the top 125 greatest footballers and is the only Croatian on the list.

He won theUEFA Champions League in 2003 with Milan, and he has also won various league and cup titles in Ukraine, Italy, and England.
In his illustrious international career, the striker led Ukraine as captain to the quarter-finals in their first ever FIFA World Cup appearance in 2006. He is capable of playing centre-forward or attacking from the left wing and is effective with set-pieces and penalties.
On 28 July 2012, Shevchenko announced that he was quitting football for politics. He was standing for election to the Ukrainian Parliament in the October 2012 Ukrainian parliamentary election. But his party failed to win parliamentary representation
On 28 August 2009, Shevchenko signed a two-year deal at his former club Dynamo Kyiv and scored a penalty-goal in his first game upon returning to his former club against Metalurh Donetsk in Dynamo's 3–1 victory on 31 August 2009. On 16 September 2009, Shevchenko played his first Champions League match after returning to Dynamo, against Rubin Kazan, in Dynamo's first game of the 2009–10 season. In October 2009, he was named the best player of the Ukrainian Premier League. Andriy is the spelling used throughout the player's official web site. It has also been adopted by UEFA and FIFA and is the preferred spelling in most English publications (although Andrii is used by World Soccermagazine and Andrei by Sky Sports). The Ukrainian pronunciation is [an?drij]. Milan and later Chelsea fans gave him the nicknameSheva, a contraction of Shevchenko.

Portrait Drawing Soccer Football Khaled3Ken Gallery dado prso

Miladin "Dado" Prso (born on 5 November 1974 in Zadar) is a Croatian former professional footballer who played as a striker.
Prso played for seven different teams and made over 300 league appearances as a professional. He was part of the Monaco team that reached the Uefa Champions League final in 2004, and part of the Rangers team that won the League and cup double in 2005.
Prso received 32 caps for Croatia and was part of the squad at Euro 2004 and World Cup 2006. He retired in June 2009 from Prva HNL the after the Scottish Premier League club Rangers
Prso started playing professionally in 1991 with the hometown squad NK Zadar. He was then briefly in Hajduk Split, and then in the second-league team NK Pazinka fromPazin, without making much impact in any of these clubs. In 1993 he moved to France to play for FC Rouen, and then moved to Saint Raphael in 1995, where he worked as a car mechanic while he continued playing football
In 1996, then-AS Monaco manager Jean Tigana noticed Prso and bought the striker, although he would spend that season in the reserve side (alongside David Trezeguet), he was sent on loan to AC Ajaccio. In 1999-2000, he helped AS Monaco win the national championship. Pr?o also helped them to the UEFA Champions League final in 2004. He is perhaps best remembered for his four-goal performance in the 8-3 win over Deportivo La Coru?a (a game which was played on his birthday), which was the highest scoring Champions League scoreline. That night, he also equaled the competition record, joining Marco van Basten (A.C. Milan 4 IFK G?teborg 0, 1992) and Simone Inzaghi (S.S. Lazio 5 Olympique de Marseille 1, 2000) as the competition's top scorer in a single match this has since been surpassed by Lionel Messi (Barcelona 7 Bayer Leverkusen 1, 2012).
In May 2004, Prso signed for Scottish side Rangers on a free transfer. In his first season at Rangers he played 34 league matches, scoring 18 league goals. In the process he helped the club win the League and League Cup. Departing Rangers manager Alex McLeishhailed Prso as his "best Rangers signing at the end of the 2005-06 season.
Prso remained a member of the 2006-07 Rangers team, despite announcing his retirement from international football. He suggested he would retire from club football on the expiration of his contract in 2007. Despite this, Prso's agent stated early in 2007 that he would like to continue playing for Rangers if his fitness allowed it, only to announce in February 2007 that his retirement was potentially imminent. Shortly afterwards, it was confirmed that Prso could play on for a minimum of one season. But this comment proved to be premature as Prso announced he would part company with Rangers at the end of the 2007 season due to his recurring knee problems. Prso's agent also stated that he would seek a transfer to a league where physical fitness was not as much of a requirement, rather than end his footballing career completely, and suggested North America and Asia as possible destinations.
At Prso's last game at Ibrox Stadium, he walked out after the final whistle wearing a brace on his leg due to damage to his ankle. He waved at the 50,000 fans who waited, and was then given the "Guard of Honour" by his teammates, led by Barry Ferguson before going back up the tunnel with tears in his eyes.
It was announced on 8 June 2007 that Rangers would release a DVD featuring highlights of Pr?o's three seasons at Ibrox, with a large amount of proceeds donated to the Rangers Charity Foundation
Pr?o received 32 international caps for Croatia, scoring nine times. Pr?o was part of the Croatian team at UEFA Euro 2004 where he played in three games. Prso is remembered in this tournament for the one goal he scored against France in Leiria on 17 June 2004. After scoring four goals during qualifying he was selected to represent his country at the 2006 FIFA World Cup. But he scored no goals during the tournament itself (where the team, as in 2004, was eliminated after the first round).

Portrait Drawing Soccer Football Khaled3Ken Gallery COLUMBIA RENE HIGUITA

José René Higuita (born 27 August 1966 in Medell?n (Barrio Castilla) is a Colombian former football goalkeeper nicknamed El Loco ("The Madman"). Rene Higuita was well known for his 'sweeper' playing style taking risk in leaving his post empty to clear balls and even dribble. Unique and 'crazy' by his nickname, he stood out in football history as one of the most unique and remarkable goal keepers of all time. In a friendly against England in 1995, he created the famous Scorpion kick, where he faces the pitch, falls forward to waist level and parallel to the ground, knees bent, feet curl back and kick the ball away from the goal. He was often considered to be the 'master of the unpredictable' Higuita was also known for his impressive goal scoring records despite being a goal keeper.
Rene Higuita played the majority of his club career with Colombian side Atlético Nacional where he helped the team win the Colombian League on numerous occasions as well as the Copa Libertadores and Copa Interamericana, both in 1989.
He came out of retirement in 2007 to sign for Venezuelan club Guaros de Lara FC. In January 2008, aged 41, he signed for Colombian second division team Deportivo Rionegro. In June 2008 he signed for Colombian first division team Deportivo Pereira and retired in January 2010.
He is married to Magnolia, with whom he has two children, Andrés and Pamela. He also has a daughter, Cindy Carolina, from a previous marriage.
Higuita was imprisoned in 1993 after getting involved in a kidnapping. Acting as a go-between for the drug barons Pablo Escobar and Carlos Molina, he was largely responsible for securing the release of Molina's daughter by delivering the ransom money. He received $64,000 for his services, which breaks Colombian law as it is an offence to profit from a kidnapping. He was incarcerated for seven months before being released without charge. Commenting on the case, he has stated that "I'm a footballer, I didn't know anything about kidnapping laws." In the documentary The Two Escobars however, it was claimed he was imprisoned due to a personal visit toPablo Escobar, in prison due to the fact that they questioned Higuita only about Pablo Escobar rather than the kidnapping itself.
Because of the term in prison Higuita was not fit for the 1994 FIFA World Cup. In another scandal, he tested positive for cocaine on 23 November 2004 while playing for "Aucas" an Ecuadorian football club.
In 2005, Higuita participated in the reality TV program La isla de los famosos: Una aventura pirata ("The Island of the Famous: A Pirate Adventure"), a show similar to Survivor. Also in 2005, he underwent plastic surgery to completely change his appearance.
As of November 2009, his son Cristian Andrés Higuita was playing for Asociaci?n Deportivo Cali and represented Colombia at the Sudamericano Sub-15. He was also set to represent Colombia at the U-20 South American Championship for 2013 but suffered a injury.
Higuita has expressed the wish to become more politically active

Portrait Drawing Soccer Football Khaled3Ken Gallery COLUMBIA ANDRES ESCOBAR

Andrés Escobar Saldarriaga (13 March 1967 – 2 July 1994), nicknamed "The Gentleman of Football", was a Colombian footballer who was shot and killed inMedell?n. It is widely believed that he was murdered due to his own goal in the 1994 FIFA World Cup against United States, which supposedly would have caused gambling losses to several powerful drug lords.
Andrés Escobar is still held in the highest regard by Colombian fans, and is especially mourned and remembered by Atlético Nacional's fans. His brother, Santiago, has managed many Colombian teams. Andrés is known for his famous line "Life doesn't end here
Escobar was born in Medellin, Colombia on 13 March 1967. He grew up in a middle-class family. His father is Dario Escobar, a banker who founded an organisation that gives young people the opportunity to play football instead of being on the streets. After Escobar's death, his family founded the Andrés Escobar Project to help disadvantaged kids learn to play football. His brother, Santiago, won the Copa Mustang with Atlético Nacional.
He attended Colegio Calasanz and graduated from Instituto Conrado Gonzalez. He participated in school football teams before becoming a professional football player.Prior to his death, Escobar was engaged to his girlfriend of five years, Pamela Cascardo, a dentist. Escobar was killed one month before their wedding was to take place.
After the 1994 FIFA World Cup, Escobar decided to return to Colombia instead of visiting relatives in Las Vegas, Nevada. On the evening of 2 July 1994, Escobar called his friends, and they went to a bar in the El Poblado, Medell?n neighbourhood. Then they went to a liquor store. Shortly afterwards, they arrived at the "El Indio" nightclub. His friends split up. At approximately 3 a.m., Escobar was alone in the parking lot of "El Indio" bar, located in a Medell?n suburb. Escobar was in his car, when three men appeared. They began arguing with him. Two of the men took out handguns Escobar was shot 6 times. It was reported that the killer shouted ?Gol!" (imitating South American football commentators) The killer shot Escobar with a .38 caliber pistol. The group then took off in aToyota pickup truck. Escobar was escorted to the hospital and was pronounced dead 45 minutes later.
The murder was widely believed to be a "punishment" for the goal that spiraled off his leg and went into his own goal. It is not clear whether the murderer was connected to one of the gambling syndicates who had bet large amounts of money on Colombia to qualify for the second round. In the UK, the BBC issued a public apology the following day after its football pundit Alan Hansen commented during another match that "the Argentine defender warrants shooting for a mistake like that"
Escobar's funeral was attended by over 120,000 people. Every year people honor Escobar by bringing photographs of him to matches. In July 2002, the city of Medell?n unveiled a statue in honor of his memory.
Humberto Castro Mu?oz, a bodyguard for members of a powerful Colombian cartel, was arrested on the night of 2 July 1994, confessing on 3 July 1994 to the killing of Escobar. Mu?oz also worked as a driver for Peter David and Juan Santiago Gallon Henao, who allegedly bet heavily on the Colombian team and was upset at having lost. He was found guilty of Escobar's murder in June 1995. He was sentenced to 43 years in prison. The sentence was later reduced to 26 years because of his submitting to the ruling penal code in 2001. Humberto was released on good behavior due to further reductions from prison work and study in 2005 after serving approximately 11 years. His three accomplices were not charged

During 2003–04, Guerrero played in the Regionalliga Süd. He played 23 games and scored 21 goals. During the 2004–05 season, he joined fellow countryman, Claudio Pizarro, on the Bayern first team. In June 2006, it was announced that Guerrero had transferred to Hamburger SV, and signed a contract with the club through 2010. He scored the winner against his former club Bayern Munich, which he did not celebrate because of his past with the club and the endearment he still felt for it. The result meant that Bayern had no chance of playing in the Champions Leaguein the 2007–08 season.
Paolo Guerrero's career with the Peruvian national team began in the doomed Germany 2006 campaign, but he managed to score twice for the national side. His first goal became the winner against Chile in Lima's Estadio Nacional. It was followed by a first minute goal in the next match against Ecuador in the same venue, though the Ecuadorians fought back to secure a 2–2 away draw. However, Guerrero was ruled out of Peru's first two 2010 FIFA World Cup qualifying games because of injury. A further blow to Peru was laid down by FIFA when Guerrero was suspended 6 games for insulting the referee during the Uruguay vs. Peru game in June 2008. The suspension started with the Peru vs. Venezuela game in September.
Following Peru's disastrous qualifying campaign for the 2010 World Cup, José del Solar was replaced by Uruguayan manager Sergio Markarian and Guerrero was called up for the 2011 Copa America. In line of an injured Pizarro, Guerrero played as the team's starting striker in the Competition and scored five times, one each against Uruguay and Mexico followed by a hat trick against Venezuela in the Third Place play Off match which Peru won 4–1. He became the tournament's top goalscorer.
Guerrero suffers from aviatophobia. Media reports claim his fear of flying is due to the tragic death of his uncle José Gonz?lez Ganozawho died in the 1987 Alianza Lima air disaster. His uncle was also a footballer and had represented Alianza Lima and the Peru national team.
Guerrero also has an older brother, Julio Rivera Gonzalez, who was also a footballer for the Peru national team. Rivera was also formed in the Alianza Lima youth system

He is the all-time leading scorer for his country, with 26 goals in 81 matches. In 2004 Pelé selected Cubillas as one of the FIFA 100, a list of 125 footballing greats. In February 2008, to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the first Brazilian World Cup victory, he was selected in the All-Star First Team of South America of the past 50 years.
Nicknamed "Nene" (the babe) for his boyish looks, Cubillas began his career with Alianza Lima at the age of 16 in 1966. Whilst at Alianza he was top scorer in the Peruvian Primera Divisi?n in 1966 and 1970.
In 1972, he had his most successful season in several years. He was Libertadores Cup top scorer and South American Footballer of the Year.
In 1973 he transferred to Swiss football club FC Basel for a fee of £97,000.He scored two goals for Basel in the 1973–74 European Cup, the second of which was scored on 20 September 1973. Later on in the 1973-74 season he moved to Portuguese club FC Porto for a fee of £200,000.
In 1979, Cubillas joined the NASL, signing for Fort Lauderdale Strikers, where he spent five seasons, scoring 59 league goals, including three goals in seven minutes against the Los Angeles Aztecs in 1981.
Following the December 1987 Alianza Lima air crash Cubillas returned from his Miami home to play for free for Alianza, who lost most of their players in the crash. He also managed the club for a period in 1988.
In May 1988 Cubillas signed with the newly resurrected Fort Lauderdale Strikers of the American Soccer League. The Strikers went to the ASL title game where they fell to the Washington Diplomats. Following the loss to the Diplomats, the Strikers released Cubillas.
In March 1989, he signed with the Miami Sharks but was released on July 3 after scoring only one goal in eight games. As of June 1991 he was playing and coaching at Miramar Illusiones of the Gold Coast Soccer League in Florida.
He was also in the Peruvian squad for 1982 FIFA World Cup, there were high expectations for Peru as a dark horse favorite to win the cup with a team that included such notable players as César Cueto, José Vel?squez, Julio César Uribe, and Cubillas. However, Peru were knocked out in the first round, after draws against both Cameroon (0-0) and Italy (1-1) and a loss against Poland (1-5). Months later, Cubillas retired from the Peru national team.

DRAWING PORTRAIT STARS PERU KHALED3KEN KHALED ABD EL KARIM KEN MAADI CLAUDIO PIZARRO

Claudio Miguel Pizarro Bosio (born 3 October 1978 in Callao, Peru) is a Peruvian football forward who plays for Bayern Munich. He is known for his scoring ability and headers.
On 23 October 2010, Pizarro surpassed the 133 goals record previously reached by Giovane Elber, making him the top foreign scorer in German football history, when he scored with his team, Werder Bremen against Borussia M?nchengladbach. As of June 2012, Pizarro is the 11th most successful striker in the history of the Bundesliga with 160 goals.
Pizarro was born and raised in the Santiago de Surco district of capital cityLima. He was born to Patricia Bosio and Claudio Pizarro D?vila, a naval officer. He has a sister, Patricia, and brother, Diego. Younger brother, Diego, was a youth player for Bayern Munich, and he is currently playing for Cienciano.
Pizarro is married to his teenage sweetheart, Karla Salcedo, and they have two sons, Claudio and Gianluca, and one daughter, Antonella. Pizarro co-owns arace horse called 'Crying Lightning' with Queens Park Rangers player Joey Barton. In January 2011 the horse competed at the Nad Al Sheba Racecourse in Dubai.
Pizarro has been a regular for Peru since 1999, and was the captain succeeding Nolberto Solano. His career in the national team has not mirrored his club career, as he has scored only 13 goals, only 6 of which have been in competitive matches. Pizarro has been a starting player in the qualifying tournaments for the 2002 Japan-Korea World Cup, the 2006 Germany World Cup, and the first three games of the 2010 South Africa World Cup. Fans of the Peruvian national team have complained of his lackluster performance in the qualifiers: only three goals scored throughout three tournaments.
In the Copa América 2004 when playing for the Peruvian National team he suffered a fractured skull, when he took an elbow to the head in an on-field collision during a 3–1 win over Venezuela which forced him out of the Copa America and required extensive surgery in Germany. He was not able to play for over three months after the incident.
Under the management of Julio César Uribe, Pizarro played for Peru in the 2007 Copa América, scoring two goals against Bolivia.
On 7 December 2007, an investigation on having introduced women and alcohol into the national squad's hotel two days before Peru's away drubbing at the hands of Ecuador (5–1) started running, and Pizarro has thus been suspended 18 months from the national team starting on the day before the match. Other Peruvian players based overseas like Jefferson Farf?n and others were also suspended. Since Pizarro claimed to be innocent, he started a trial against the Peruvian Football Federation. This action alerted FIFA about the case who warned the player about not taking it to the regular judges or he could face an international ban.
On 3 July 2008, after an investigation and a review of the facts, the suspension was changed to only three months (from the date of appeal in April 2008) and $10,000 fine. Pizarro served the three-month ban.
On 17 April 2009, Pizarro won a court victory over his national federation. The Court of Arbitration for Sport overturned a $10,000 fine imposed on Pizarro by the Peruvian football association after the alleged November 2007 incident. "The facts put forward by (the federation) in relation to Pizarro were not supported by concrete evidence", sport's highest court said in a statement.
Pizarro expressed his satisfaction with the final result. He explained: "I am very satisfied and feel vindicated, Pizarro said. "My honor has been restored. My family and friends have always stood by me and knew that these were all just lies that were being spread about me. But this verdict will now also give certainty to everyone who had doubts that I have always told the truth.
Despite these results neither him nor any of the other suspended players were ever called for the duration of the World Cup South Africa qualification games by coach Del Solar. Pizarro's attitude as team captain had already been called into question by the fans, who felt he that he would focus more on his hobbies (such as horse racing) than training when he would go to Peru.

Henri Camara (born 10 May 1977) is a Senegalese footballer who plays as astriker and is currently plays for Panetolikos F.C.
Camara was born in Dakar to a Guinean father and a Senegalese mother. He began his career in France with RC Strasbourg (1998–1999), before playing for Swiss clubs Neuchâtel Xamax (1999–2000), and Grasshopper-Club Zürich, where he won the Swiss Championship in 2001. He then returned to France with Sedan but sought a new move when they were relegated in 2003.
Camara joined newly promoted English Premier League club Wolverhampton Wanderers in August 2003 in a four-year deal for £1.5million. He was a regular first-choice player, capable of creating goalscoring opportunities, but often guilty of erratic finishing that left him with just one goal from 23 games, this goal being the crucial winner as Wolves came back from 3 down at half time to beat relegation rivals Leicester City 4–3. Towards the end of the season, he found his scoring touch and struck 6 times in the final 9 games. While this could not prevent relegation, he was named the fans' Player of the Year.
However, Camara was unwilling to play at a lower level and did not turn up for pre-season training. His future was further unsettled by a bid from Phil Gartside, Bolton Wanderers' chairman, which Wolves chief executive Jez Moxey rejected. He eventually returned to the club but only to negotiate a loan move away.
Camara made his international debut for Senegal in a 1–1 African Cup of Nations qualifier against Nigeria on 28 February 1999. He went on to play in their surprising run at the 2002 World Cup, scoring two goals – one a golden goal – in the Round of 16 against Sweden, which took them to the quarter-finals for the only time in their history. He was also part of the 2004, 2006 and 2008 Africa Cup of Nations squads.
Camara also featured in Ronaldinho's squad for a charity football match. The match was between Europe and the rest of the world. Camara came on as a substitute and scored 2 goals in the second half of the game to help his team take the victory.
Internationally, Camara could have played for Guinea as his father was born in Guinea. On choosing Senegal, he explained, "I was born in Senegal but my father is from Guinea, so, yes, I could have played with Momo Sylla in the Guinea national team. When I was young, I received an invitation from the Senegal youth team and my dad didn't want me to play. His dream was for me to play for Guinea. But I didn't know Guinea very well. Senegal was my country, so it was an easy decision for me to make.

Raised by his grandparents, Diouf was reunited with his father after a 22-year absence. He played for Senegal in their 2002 FIFA World Cup campaign and was elected to the World Cup All-Star team, after leading Senegal to the quarter-finals and victories over France (1–0) and Sweden (2–1). Senegal eventually lost 1–0 in extra time to Turkey. He was also part of the Senegal team who were the runners-up in the 2002 African Cup of Nations. After becoming available for the Senegal national side, in October 2012 Diouf was left out of the squad to face Côte d'Ivoire in an African Cup Of Nations qualifier, Diouf proclaimed that he felt he was left out of the squad because the Senegal federation were 'scared' of him.

Frédéric Oumar Kanouté (born 2 September 1977) is a French-born Malianfootballer who currently plays for Chinese Super League side Beijing Guoan. Kanouté was named the 2007 African Footballer of the Year, the first player born outside Africa to win the award.
Kanouté began his career with Lyon in France before moving to West Ham of thePremier League in 2000. After a spell at their London rivals Tottenham Hotspur, Kanouté moved to Spanish club Sevilla where he won two consecutive UEFA Cupsin 2006 and 2007 in addition to various other European and domestic honours and remains the club's highest-scoring foreign player. He joined Beijing Goan on 29 June 2012.
Despite appearing 16 times for France U-21, Kanouté was a member of the Malian squad which reached the semi-finals of the 2004 African Cup of Nations and also featured in their selections for the tournament in 2006 and 2010. His international career ended in 2010 with a total of 39 caps and 23 goals.
Kanouté and his wife live in Seville, Spain with their three children.
Kanouté has been practicing Islam since he was around the age of 22. He refused to wear a Sevilla shirt bearing the name of club sponsor 888.com, due to the fact the website is used for gambling, which is against the principles of Islam; this meant that the club had to give him a brand-free jersey every match. The company, however, agreed to excuse him from their publicity campaigns in return for Kanouté wearing the sponsored kit, which was part of the players' contractual duties. In 2007, Kanouté paid more than $700,000 out of his pocket to buy a mosque in Seville. The contract on the premises had expired and the mosque was due to be sold. The Islamic community of Spain confirmed it had requested Kanouté's aid after the mosque was put up for sale.
Kanouté is a practising Muslim. He insists his faith has never presented itself as a problem in his relationship with the coaching staff, team-mates or fans. He has stated that “Islam has helped me to be this way, so this is normal. It's a path you take to keep you calm, to help you think about the place you live in, to love your neighbour. It's strange when I hear about all these problems of terrorism because it's the opposite of what I understood for Islam.”
He observes fasting during the Islamic month of Ramadan. He has stated that “I can keep fasting in Ramadan even when I am playing...it is sometimes harder to keep the fast because here in the south of Spain it is very hot, but I can do it, thank God.”
After scoring a goal in a 7 January 2009 Copa Del Rey match against Deportivo La Coru?a, Kanouté lifted his jersey and displayed a black shirt underneath emblazoned with the word "Palestine". The action was interpreted by BBC sources as a protest against the massive Israeli army operation in the Gaza Strip ongoing at that time. Kanouté was cautioned with a yellow card for displaying a political message, and subsequently fined around $4,000 by the league.
Kanouté has also showed interest in a variety of humanitarian causes. In 2006, he launched an appeal to establish a "Children's Village" in Mali
