Portrait Drawing Soccer Football Khaled3Ken Gallery STARS BELGIUM PODOLPHE WILLIAM SEALDRAYERS FIFA PRESIDENT

Rodolphe William Seeldrayers (December 16, 1876 - October 7, 1955) was the 4th President of FIFA, serving from 1954 to 1955. He was actively involved in the official associations of Belgian sports.
Eight fields of Belgian sports have benefited from Seeldrayers' attentions: athletics, soccer, aviation, cricket, field hockey, golf and, in a small measure, tennis and swimming — eight different sports in which he was involved — athletics and soccer being without any doubt his predilection. To begin with, he was the Belgian champion of the 110-meter hurdles in 1897, and he competed for ten years; secondly, he was the Belgian Division of honor champion with the Racing-Club of Brussels' team in 1900, and captain of the universityteam of Brussels in 1898 and 1899. All in all, he competed for 26 years.
As for other fields, their practice lasted an average of ten years and always at an elevated level of accomplishment, winning at least a championship: he had five years in the Regatta Club (Cercle des régates) of Brussels and the "Sunburn" team (Coup de Soleil), ten years of cricket in le Racing and the "Ango-Belgian Club" of Brussels, and was its three time champion of Belgium. He was captain, in 1924, of the national team which defeated France in Paris, ten years of hockey in the Racing-Club of Brussels, and in 1903, in the national team against France, in Paris; golf from 1919 onwards in the Waterloo Golf Club where he was captain for ten years.
Seeldrayers was a very accomplished sportsman, and as can be seen from the many sports in which he competed, he had preference for team sports, which agreed with his conception of sports, since, according to Seeldrayers, sports must be the playing-field of an apprenticeship in the necessary values of life and community.
Born in 1876 in Düsseldorf, Germany, R.W. Seeldrayers studied law at the Université Libre de Bruxelles (Free University of Brussels), where he began his sporting activities. At 19, he was one of the founders of the Union royale belge des Sociétés de football association (URBSFA), or Royal Belgian Union of the Football Association Societies, of which he was the treasurer for four years and the Executive Counsel for 25 years. He was later elected member of honor. In 1914, the Union used his talents as an orator and named him delegate to FIFA, of which he was made Vice-President in 1927.
In 1899, Seeldrayers began a career as a sports journalist with the magazine "La vie sportive", (Sporting life), writing a column under the pen name Spectator. Ten years later, he founded the National Committee for Physical Education which merged with the Belgian Olympic Committee. He became head of the committee beginning in 1946, succeeding Prince Albert de Ligne.
In 1920, he was Technical Secretary of the Olympic Games at Anvers, and would be a member of the appeals jury for soccer at the Olympic games several times, most notably at the 1936 Summer Olympics in Berlin, where an incident during the Peru v Austria game provoked an appeals jury consultation. During the match spectators invaded the pitch. The Austrian Football Association sent a complaint to the appeals committee which decided, after deliberation, to re-play the match "behind closed doors." Peru disagreed and their entire Olympic squad left the Games complaining of the 'crafty Berlin decision'. He also received the official Czechoslovak complaint following the abandoned 1920 Olympic Final which had been refereed by John Lewis.
Inveterate founder of clubs and associations, the following organizations are to Seeldrayers' credit: the Waterloo Golf-Club (1923), theIxelles Football Club (which would be part of the merger with the Racing Club of Brussels) and the Anglo-Belgian Cricket Sporting Club. Selldrayers seemed to be well received in English circles: up-to-date and to the point in matters of sport, he furthermore had perfectly mastered the English language. At the same time, Seeldrayers continued his journalistic activities and began a new collaboration with the publication "Sports Echo" (L'Echo des Sports), but it would end this aspect of his activities in 1935, while still continuing to publish articles and to make his opinions known in the columns of the Bulletins of the International Olympic Committee.
The Second World War slowed down his activities somewhat without stopping them: as a member of the Belgian Olympic Committeeduring the Occupation, he stood up for the independence of Belgian sport. At the end of the War, he was one of the members of theInternational Olympic Committee for the first post-war Games, in 1946.
At the beginning of 1955, the universally respected Frenchman Jules Rimet resigned from FIFA and passed his authority to his Vice-President, R. W. Seeldrayers. This handing down of power, as well as the matches of the World Cup of 1954 were shown on television for the first time. A great mutual respect existed between the two men, which translated, on the part of the Belgian, into a motion introduced on July 25, 1946 at a FIFA congress, to change the name of the World Cup to the "Jules Rimet Cup." Under his Presidency, the Federation counted 85 members and celebrated its fiftieth anniversary.
For many years, the question of amateurism posed a problem. With the development of the sport, the phenomenon of professionalism began to bring into question the fundamentals of the conception of the Olympic Games as P. de Coubertin wanted them to be. Debates raged, and a Commission on Amateurism was created, supported by the International Olympic Committee. Seeldrayers took part in it. In the end, the commission submitted its final report in 1947, at the session in Stockholm. It included, among other things, a definition of amateurism, and required future participants in the Olympic Games to sign a declaration affirming that they were truly amateurs, and proposing the creation of a permanent commission, composed of three members of the International Olympic Committee and a delegate of each international federation. But the problem was not much forgotten.
Under his Presidency of FIFA, Seeldrayers faced another problem: FIFA was in fact reproached for having given permission for "false" amateurs to participate in a Helsinki tournament, even though a definition of amateurism had been introduced in the FIFA bylaws by Seeldrayers himself, Vice President of the federation at the time. The problem is complex, with the decision of which games will participate in majors sports events at stake. It was also a time when regimes used sports as a means of propaganda.
Aware of the importance of this problem, Seeldrayers remained faithful to his view of sport. For him, "from a point of view strictly Olympic, sport is only possible, theoretically, when practiced by amateurs." His opinion didn't prevent him from respecting professional players who followed the spirit of the game with loyalty, sincerity, and fair-play. And even though he clearly saw the use of sports in communist propaganda, he understood and approved that phenomenon to a certain extent. In his opinion, sports were a key element of social organization. They must be integrated to the school curriculum on the same level that any other subject and are capital to youths' education.
Seeldrayers considered the spectators as flawed, and over time, his opinion didn't improve. He believed that it was the duty of the press to teach the spectator.
R.W. Seeldrayers died a year after his election as president of FIFA, on October 7, 1955 due to illness. He received semi-official funerals following a governmental decision. He was posthumously elected as member of the IOC (International Olympic Committee). It was then decided that this title would not be given posthumously again.

Daniel Van Buyten (Dutch pronunciation: [?da?nij?l v?n ?bœyt?(n)]; born 7 February 1978 in Chimay) is a Belgian footballer who plays as a defender forBayern Munich, following a June 2006 transfer from Hamburg. His father, Franz, was a Belgian popular catcher/wrestler in Europe from 1960 to 1980. His mother, Renate, is a German.
In the 2003–04 season, Van Buyten, then of Olympique Marseille, had a short term loan spell in England with Manchester City but did not make a full time move to the Premier League.
In June 2006, Bayern Munich announced it had acquired Van Buyten from rivals Hamburg, and signed him to a contract lasting through the 2009–10 season. Van Buyten had a highly successful first season at the Bavarian club, forming a centre-back partnership with L?cio. Van Buyten scored his first goal for Bayern Munich against Energie Cottbus on 9 December 2006. Bayern ran out 2–1 winners and it was Van Buyten's goal which secured the win. Van Buyten then scored his second goal for the club in the loss to Borussia Dortmund. However, Van Buyten's most valuable contribution came againstMilan on 3 April 2007, in the first-leg of the Champions League quarter-final. Van Buyten scored two away goals to level the match and giving Bayern Munich the advantage in the tie (see below). The two close range efforts doubled his tally to four goals for the season.
On 4 February 2010, Bayern Munich announced that Van Buyten had signed a new contract that would keep him at the club until 2012. During the second half of the 2010–11 season, Van Buyten was mostly relegated to bench player status, but recovered his starting spot towards the end of the season. On 17 December 2011, in the match between Bayern Munich and 1. FC K?ln, Van Buyten struck a free kick so hard that the ball burst.
On 30 April 2012, Van Buyten signed a one-year extension with Bayern Munich

Jean-Marc Bosman (born 30 October 1964) is a former Belgian footballer, whose judicial challenge of the football transfer rules led to the Bosman ruling. This landmark judgement completely changed the way footballers are employed, allowing professional players in the European Union to move freely to another club at the end of their term of contract with their present team.
Prior to the famous trial, Bosman played for Belgian first division club Standard de Liège and RFC Liège and won 20 caps for Belgium at youth level. While the trial was ongoing Bosman played briefly in the French lower leagues, and on the Indian Ocean island of Réunion.
Since Bosman won his case, it was claimed by The Sun that he has lost the money he won from his case and has descended into alcoholism whilst living on benefits.

Portrait Drawing Soccer Football Khaled3Ken Gallery star scotland sir matt busby

Portrait Drawing Soccer Football Khaled3Ken Gallery star scotland sir matt busby

Sir Alexander Matthew "Matt" Busby, CBE, KCSG (26 May 1909 – 20 January 1994) was a Scottish football player and manager, most noted for managingManchester United between 1945 and 1969 and again for the second half of the 1970–1971 season. His manager records and longevity at the helm of Manchester United are only surpassed by Sir Alex Ferguson.
Before going into management, Busby was a player for two of Manchester United's greatest rivals, Manchester City and Liverpool. During his time at City, Busby played in two FA Cup Finals, winning one of them. After his playing career was interrupted by the Second World War, Busby was offered the job of assistant coach at Liverpool, but they were unwilling to give him the control over the team that he wanted and he took the vacant manager's job at Manchester United instead.
Busby was born to Alexander and Nellie Busby in a two-roomed pitman's cottage in the mining village of Orbiston, Bellshill, North Lanarkshire. When he was born, Busby's mother was told by the doctor "A footballer has come into this house today". Busby's father was a miner, but was called up to serve in World War I, being killed by a sniper's bullet on 23 April 1917 at the Battle of Arras. Three of his uncles were killed in France with the Cameron Highlanders. Busby's mother was left to raise Matt and his three sisters alone until her marriage to a man called Harry Matthie in 1919.
Busby would often accompany his father down into the coal pits, but his true aspiration was to become a professional footballer. In his 1973 autobiography Busby described himself as being as football mad as any other boy in Bellshill citing in particular the impression made on him by Alex James and Hughie Gallacher.
His mother might have quashed those dreams when she applied to emigrate with Matt to the United States in the late 1920s, but he was granted a reprieve by the nine-month processing time.
In the meantime, Busby got a full-time job as a collier and played football part-time for Stirlingshire side Denny Hibs. He had played only a few matches for Denny Hibs, but it was not long before he was signed up by a Manchester City side that was a couple of games away from regaining promotion to the First Division.

His years at Liverpool were among the club's most successful periods, as he won six Football League First Divisions, two FA Cups, four League Cups, seven FA Charity Shields, threeEuropean Cups and one UEFA Super Cup. For these achievements and his style of play he was given the name King Kenny by Liverpool supporters. Hugh Kilpatrick "Hughie" Gallacher (2 February 1903 – 11 June 1957) was aScottish football player in the 1920s and 1930s. In 624 senior games, Gallacher scored 463 times.
Gallacher lacked height and weight. However, he had excellent ball control, guile and instinct, being able to go past opposing defenders with ease. Although a mere 5' 5", he was a handful for any defence as he possessed awesome strike power. Gallacher could shoot with either foot, dribble with the ball, head, tackle and forage. There were four occasions when he scored five goals in a game. He also made chances for other players.
He is one of the Scotland national football team's most prolific goalscorers with 23 goals from his 20 internationals, a remarkable strike rate of more than a goal a game. Gallacher was one of the Wembley Wizards who beat England 5–1 atWembley Stadium in 1928
Gallacher was born in Bellshill, North Lanarkshire in 1903. He started "biffing a twopenny ball" almost as soon as he could walk. Gallacher was a boyhood friend of Alex James. He had been down the Hattonrig Pit at the age of 15, working 10-hour shifts. Aged 16 he left Lanarkshire junior league side Tannochside Athletic to join Hattonrigg Thistle. Alan David Hansen (born 13 June 1955 in Sauchie, Clackmannanshire, Scotland) is aScottish former football player and BBC television football pundit. He played as a central defender for Partick Thistle, Liverpool and Scotland. In 1990, he became the first outfield player to win English league titles in three different decades. As a pundit, Hansen has acquired a reputation for his critical and analytical approach to the game, particularly in regard to defending.
Hansen attended Lornshill Academy and supported Rangers growing up. At the age of 15, Hansen received a large scar to his forehead after running into a plate-glass panel. The glass was in a brand-new youth club which Hansen attended. During his 2 hour hospital stay he had 27 stitches in his head. He sued the education authority and won the case
Alan Hansen played his early football (along with his brother John) at the Scottish Junior league (Scottish equivalent of non league in England, one level below senior) club, Sauchie Juniors
Commentating on the Argentina-Romania match in the 1994 World Cup, Hansen said that "the Argentine defender warrants shooting for a mistake like that". The previous day, Colombian defender Andrés Escobar had been shot dead, a killing widely attributed to punishment for an own goal Escobar scored in Colombia's 2–1 loss to the United States earlier in the same tournament. The BBC issued a public apology for Hansen's poor choice of words.
During an appearance on Match of the Day on 21 December 2011, while discussing the prominence of racism in English football following allegations against Premier League players Luis Su?rez and John Terry, Hansen caused controversy after twice using the word "coloured" in reference to black footballers. The BBC received 82 complaints by the following morning while some, including Shamrock Rovers player Rohan Ricketts, criticised Hansen's choice of words on social network Twitter. Ricketts tweeted: "He is part of the problem when using that word. We are BLACK Alan!".
Hansen issued an apology the following day, saying "'I unreservedly apologise for any offence caused – this was never my intention and I deeply regret the use of the word.

He launched his solo career in 1969 with his debut album An Old Raincoat Won't Ever Let You Down (US: The Rod Stewart Album). As a solo artist, Stewart was inducted into the US Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1994, the UK Music Hall of Fame in 2006 and was inducted a second time into the US Hall of Fame, as a member of The Faces, in 2012
Roderick David Stewart was born on 10 January 1945 at 507 Archway Road, Highgate, North London, the youngest of the five children of Robert Stewart and Elsie Gilbart. His father was Scottish and had been a master builder in Leith, Edinburgh, while Elsie was English and had grown up in Upper Holloway in North London.
Married in 1928, the couple had two sons and two daughters while living in Scotland, then they moved to Highgate. Stewart came after an eight-year gap following his youngest sibling; he was born at home during World War II.
The family was neither affluent nor poor, and by all accounts Stewart was a spoiled child as the youngest; Stewart has called his childhood "fantastically happy". He had an undistinguished record at Highgate Primary School and failed the eleven plus exam He then attended the William Grimshaw Secondary Modern School in Hornsey. His father retired from the building trade at age 65, then opened a newsagent's shop on the Archway Road when Stewart was in his early teens; the family lived over the shop.Stewart's main hobby was railway modelling.
The Stewart family was mostly focused on football; Robert had played on a local amateur side and managed some as well, and one of Stewart's earliest memories were the pictures of Scottish players such as George Young and Gordon Smith that his brothers had on the wall. Rod was the most talented footballer in the Stewart family and was a strong supporter of Arsenal F.C.. Combining natural athleticism with near-reckless aggression, he became captain of the school football team and played for Middlesex Schoolboys as centre-half.
The family were also great fans of the singer Al Jolson and would sing and play his hits. Stewart collected his records and saw his films, read books about him, and was influenced by his performing style and attitude towards his audience. His introduction to rock and roll was hearing Little Richard's 1956 hit "The Girl Can't Help It" and seeing Bill Haley & His Comets in concert. His father bought him a guitar in January 1959; the first song he learned was the folk tune "It Takes a Worried Man to Sing a Worried Song" and the first record he bought was Eddie Cochran's "C'mon Everybody".In 1960, he joined a skiffle group with schoolfriends called the Kool Kats, playing Lonnie Donegan and Chas McDevitt hits.
Stewart left school at age 15 and worked briefly as a silk screen printer. Spurred on by his father, his ambition was to become a professional footballer. In summer 1960, he went for trials at Brentford F.C.a Third Division club at the time. However, contrary to longstanding popular belief, Stewart states in his autobiography that he was never signed to the club and that the club never called him back after his trials. In any case, regarding possible career options, Stewart concluded, "Well, a musician's life is a lot easier and I can also get drunk and make music, and I can't do that and play football. I plumped for music ... They're the only two things I can do actually: play football and sing
In May 2000, Stewart was diagnosed with thyroid cancer, for which he underwent surgery in the same month. It had been previously reported he suffered from a benign vocal cord nodule.Besides being a major health scare, the resulting surgery also threatened his famous voice, and he had to re-learn how to sing. Since then he has been active in raising funds for The City of Hope Foundation charity to find cures for all forms of cancer, especially those affecting children.
Stewart plays for his LA Exiles team made up of mostly English expatriates plus a few celebrities, including Billy Duffy of The Cult, in a senior soccer league in Palos Verdes, California, He still kicks footballs into the audience during concerts. Despite his father being a supporter of Hibernian, he is a well-known supporter of Glasgow Celtic which he mentions in his hit "You're in My Heart", and theScotland national team. Stewart also follows Manchester United as his English side, and he explains his love affair with both Celtic and United in Frank Worrall's book Celtic United.
Stewart is a keen model railway enthusiast. His 23 x 124-foot HO scale layout in his Los Angeles home is modelled after the New York Central and the Pennsylvania Railroads during the 1940s. Called the Three Rivers City, the layout was featured in the cover story of the December 2007 and December 2010 issues of Model Railroader Magazine. In the 2007 article Stewart said that he would rather be in a model railroad magazine than a music magazine. He has a second layout at his UK home. That layout is based on Britain's East Coast Main Line. Stewart's home is located in Epping, Essex, on part of the Copped Hall estate
A keen car enthusiast, Stewart owns one of the 400 Ferrari Enzos. In 1982, Stewart was car-jacked on Los Angeles' Sunset Boulevard, while he was parking his $50,000 Porsche. The car was subsequently recovered.
On 11 October 2005, Stewart received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame at 6801 Hollywood Boulevard (star number 2093). On 18 and 19 April 2006 Stewart was the guest artist and celebrity vocal coach on American Idol, leading the remaining seven finalists in singing entries from the Great American Songbook.
In July 2007, Stewart collected his CBE for "services to music" at Buckingham Palace, commenting; "It's a marvellous occasion. We're the only country in the world to honour the common man." Stewart was estimated to have a fortune of £115 million in the Sunday Times Rich List of 2011, making him one of the 20 richest people in the British music industry.

He is one of the leading players in Ecuadorian football.Kaviedes is known as a striker with wonderful touch, great vision, passing range and a keen eye for goal. Although not particularly strong in the air, Kaviedes has scored spectacular overhead goals in his career. One remembered well even to this day was the bicycle kick he did with his back turned against FC Barcelona while playing forReal Valladolid. This goal was voted as the goal of the year.Kaviedes rose to fame after scoring 43 goals in one season for Emelec in the 1998Ecuadorian league. This led to a move to Perugia in the Italian Serie A. Kaviedes was unsuccessful there, since then he had journeyed around the world playing for a number of clubs in Europe, Mexico, and South America, even returning to his homeland. After a brief spell in Deportivo Quito, Kaviedes signed with FA Premier League clubCrystal Palace, and became the third Ecuadorian to play in the Premier League. He arrived at the club for a fee of reputedly £2,000,000, though there is confusion over whether he was signed on loan or on a full transfer. However, Kaviedes did not fit into Crystal Palace or with Manager Iain Dowie's 4-5-1 formation. He was transferred out of the club in the 2004/05 winter transfer window. After the 2006 FIFA World Cup he transferred from Argentinos Juniors in Argentinafor El Nacional in his homeland, 2006 Ecuadorian League Champions. In his first official game for the club, he scored an impressive four goals. He scored 14 goals in 2007. Ivan has transferred to LDU Quito for the 2008 season. In 2009, he began to train again with LDU Portoviejo, but never signed with the club. At the end of 2009, Kaviedes was in a rehabilitation clinic for a couple of months. Because of unsportsmanlike conduct, Macara cancelled his contract and Kaviedes was searching for a club in Turkey or Lebanon. In 2010, after almost two years of last playing as a professional, he was signed by Macar? of Ambato. In his third game for the club on February 28 against Universidad Cat?lica, Kaviedes scored his first professional goal in 743 days. Iv?n Jacinto Hurtado Angulo (born August 16, 1974 in Esmeraldas) is anEcuadorian professional football centre back for Barcelona as well as captaining theEcuadorian national team. He is currently one of the most capped male footballers of all time.He started his career with the small club of his hometown, Esmeraldas Petrolero, at the age of 16. A year later he moved on to one of Ecuador's biggest clubs inGuayaquil, Emelec, and had two stellar seasons, including two championships with the club, in one of them he scored the championship goal with a free kick he executed. His excellent play warranted a switch to the Mexican leagues where he even further developed his defending techniques and his intelligent read of the game. Ivan made a big impact in his first club, Celaya, where he led them to the Mexican league finals. He then moved to Tigres. He then moved on to the La Liga in Spain playing for Real Murcia.[1] After a mostly successful spell with Pachuca in Primera Divisi?n de México, he moved on to Al Arabi in the Qatari League, impressing many over there. After the FIFA World Cup in Germany, where Hurtado shone, it was reported that high profile clubs such as English Premier League's Wigan Athletic, and Spanish La Liga'sRecreativo Huelva and Villarreal were highly interested in him. However none of these rumors were accurate, and after spending six more months with Al Arabi, Hurtado moved to Colombia where he played for Atlético Nacional, he led the defence of the team, becoming captain in the back-to-back titles in 2007. In mid-2009, he will return to Deportivo Quito for the remainder of their Once a top class defender, he is known in Spanish by his fans as "Bam Bam" for ramming the football with his feet like the Hanna-Barbera character does with his club. Ivan's playing style differs from his national partner, Giovanny Espinoza. While Espinoza is a very large player who uses his size, power and speed to overwhelm his adversary, Hurtado is considered to be very classy and often needs no contact at all to dispossess his adversary. Ivan also makes very clean tackles, organizes his back line as well as the best of them, and can even display confidence with the ball at his feet, and he can occasionally make surprising dashes forward.A notable long and short passer, Hurtado has also taken free kicks well. Although not able to the bend the ball as well as other notable free kick takers, he has been known to strike the ball with such force that goalkeepers find it hard to judge and time his shots.
